To keep Worcy trusted and verify that each worker profile belongs to a real person, we collect specific identification and verification information during Worker Registration. This information is used only for worker identity and verification.

Why we collect it: To verify worker identity, prevent fake or duplicate profiles, and maintain platform trust before a profile is approved.
Public visibility: Identification documents, document images, document numbers, and selfie verification files are never displayed on public worker profiles and are not shown on Find Workers, Customer Request, Rating, or any other customer-facing page.
Who can access: Only the Worcy admin/verification system can access these files for review. They are not accessible to customers or other workers. Access is controlled by the existing Firebase/Firestore/Storage security rules.
Protection: Files are uploaded via a signed, server-validated flow to Firebase Storage and protected by the existing Worcy security system, including secure infrastructure and access controls. No document URLs or sensitive verification data are exposed on public pages.
Retention & handling: Verification information is kept only as long as needed to operate verification, meet legal obligations, or as described in Data Retention and Account Deletion. You may request deletion via Contact Us.
